I’m sifting through loads of home decor and interiors lately. I’ll tell you why later. But I’ve been thinking a lot about how the spaces we inhabit influence our creativity and mood. How we feel more alive in a room flooded with natural light. How too many colors all at once can overwhelm our senses. How clutter can either stress or positively stimulate. There’s a whole science behind it, and it all seems quite trivial and privileged, but I prescribe to the belief that if we take care of ourselves, we can take care of others. If you feel good in your space, you’re more likely to go out in the world and do good. Okay, now I’m getting too existential when this post is just supposed to be about aesthetic things.
