4 years of Honing Her Craft
A list of favorite posts, plus a subscription discount for the month of September
Four years ago, I had just moved to Flagstaff, Arizona with Steve. The fields were blooming with sunflowers, and the tarantulas had just started their migration. We knew nobody yet and he was starting his masters in fiction writing. I was nine months into freelancing full time. And on Sept. 1, my first interview went live on this platform. So much has changed since then. I have changed so much since then. But the thing that hasn’t changed is my commitment to showing up here.
In celebration of four years of Honing Her Craft, here are 10 favorite things I’ve written that take you through my archive (omitting columbs like monthly updates, things I like, and studio visits). I’ve removed the paywall from the posts that were for subscribers only, but if you’d like to upgrade your subscription, I’m offering 15% off annual signups ($39 instead of $45) through September.
Thank you for showing up here, for being curious. I write for me, but I also write for you. I hope you enjoy this selection, and I’ll see you next week! Love you!
